Marine plastic litter is a big problem all over the world.
In order to solve this problem as soon as possible, the Nippon Foundation, which promotes the "Umi to Nihon Project: CHANGE FOR THE BLUE", which aims to build a model of marine litter countermeasures in all Japan with industry, government, academia, and citizens united, has established an inter-company collaboration platform " ALLIANCE FOR THE BLUE” was formed.
Toyooka Kaban supports and participates in "Product for the Blue".
As the first initiative, we started an upcycling business for discarded fishing nets.
"Product for the Blue" is one of the initiatives of ALLIANCE FOR THE BLUE, which "recycles discarded fishing net recycled fabric and adds value to it as a product."
Therefore, Toyooka Kaban made a bag out of nylon fabric made from recycled fishing nets.
A portion of the profit from bag sales will be donated to ALLIANCE FOR THE BLUE, a general incorporated association, to help protect our precious oceans.

All of them are nylon fabrics made from recycled fishing nets, but thanks to the outstanding technical capabilities of each specialized company, the fabrics are comparable to 100% virgin nylon fabrics, and the durability as a bag material is perfect.
With the desire to protect the sea, which is rich in blessings for children 100 years from now, we will solve social issues in a new style by using recycled fishing net fabrics that are discarded and taking into consideration the environment.
